Ahead of his 2020 solo at TWFINEART in February, we are taking you on a sneak peek inside Sebastian Helling's studio in Norway.

It's the middle of winter in Oslo and according to Sebastian 'It's freezing cold and 3:00am. A good time to be in the studio!'

This series of work begins with a foundation of colourful marks that are then shrouded in dense silver pigment and reconstructed, over and over agin. The results.. well, you'll have to wait until February for the full reveal. However the incredible consequence of this process is that the works are absolute chameleons. As you walk around the paintings, they change from every aspect.

We are very excited to introduce you to the work first up in 2020!!
