We are pleased to announce that our first solo exhibition for 2018 will feature the incredible paintings of Californian artist Jonni Cheatwood. 

Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, a suburb in the northwestern part of the Greater Los Angeles area, Jonni attended Simi Valley High School, Oaks Christian School and graduated from Westlake High School in 2004. He would leave southern California after graduation to attend Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and then in 2006, he transferred to Arizona State University. While attending ASU, Cheatwood began to paint. 

Cheatwood now living in Los Angeles recently showed at Scope Miami and we are thrilled to launch the 2018 season with a solo exhibition of his latest works.

 

Here is a sneak peek inside Jonni's Los Angeles studio, filled with materials and objects that find their way into his assembled painted surfaces and eventually onto our gallery walls!
