Official Statement Regarding TW Fine Art Legal Proceedings
In August 2025, all charges against Tove Langridge were formally struck out in the Brisbane Magistrates Court after the Queensland Police Service offered no evidence. No conviction was recorded.
Tove Langridge and TW Fine Art are pleased to announce the formal conclusion of all legal proceedings initiated in late 2023.
On 6 August 2025, in the Brisbane Magistrates Court, the Prosecution formally offered no evidence in relation to the charges previously brought against Mr. Langridge. Consequently, His Honour Magistrate Mack ordered that all charges be struck out. Mr. Langridge was fully discharged, and no convictions were recorded.
This outcome serves as a definitive resolution to the allegations. Mr. Langridge and the team at TW Fine Art remain committed to their artists and the contemporary art community, and they look forward to continuing their work without the shadow of these proceedings. We are pleased to move forward and continue our commitment to supporting international and local contemporary artists through our gallery, TW Fine Art.
